When the Moguls conquered the northern part of India in the early 16th century, they brought with them a wave of culture, art and architecture that we still marvel at there today. And not least among their many legacies is the wonderful cuisine they created. What we know today as Mughlai Cuisine was first conjured up in royal kitchens as imperial feasts for the Mogul emperors. Those culinary artist of yore have left us with a magnificent heritage of bursting flavours and mouth watering aromas that are reminiscent of Imperial India...
